Hillarys local Bug Boys are going on an epic journey to raise funds for charity in the Bulldust N’ Back convoy Bug’s Life Beetle!

Troy, Naomi and Lachlan Cove from Mortgage Choice Hillarys have teamed up with the local Rotary Club to raise funds for local children’s cancer and youth mental health charities.

The Bulldust N’ Back (BNB) Trial is a not-for-profit, four-day motoring adventure that leads drivers in wacky and wonderful old cars through WA’s outback, all for the cause of helping kids.

Troy and Lachlan will be facing the heat and tough off-road conditions in their bug costumes during the trip.

To avoid getting squished, they’ve modded their humble beetle with off-road wheels, a custom lower bull-bar, roof-rack, smoke and bubble machine.

The 2022 BNB event will travel from Merredin, then on to Southern Cross, Jaurdi Station, Moorine Rock, Holland Track, Hyden and finish up at Quairading before heading home.

The BNB team is made up entirely of volunteers, meaning no profits and no wages to be paid.

The 2021 BNB raised over $90,000 for good causes and over $50,000 went into the local communities visited along the way.
