About the Hillarys electorate

Hillarys is a picturesque coastal electorate located between the Mitchell Freeway and some of Western Australia’s most spectacular coastlines, north of Hepburn Avenue and south of Ocean Reef Road.

Residents in Beldon, Craigie, Hillarys, Kallaroo, Mullaloo and Padbury are a part of the Hillarys electorate.

The area is a renowned international tourism hotspot with Hillary’s Boat Harbour, the ferry to Rottnest Island and Whitfords/Mullaloo Beach. The area is an ideal location to raise a family with acres of parkland and protected coastal bushland.

The electorate was created in 1996, replacing the seat of Whitford. Caitlin Collins on the seat of Hillarys in the 2021 state election, becoming the first Labor MP for the seat, and the first in the area since Hon. Pam Beggs was the Member for Whitford from 1983 to 1993.
