Padbury’s Forrest Park is now benefiting from brand new floodlighting thanks to a $190,323 grant from the WA State Government’s Club Night Lights Program (2023/2024 round).

The occasion was celebrated with a Grand Opening BBQ organised by the mighty Northern Warriors Football Club.

The Club Night Lights Program exemplifies the WA State Government’s commitment to the development of floodlighting infrastructure for sport across the State. The purpose of the program is to provide financial assistance to community groups and local governments to develop sports floodlighting infrastructure. The program aims to maintain or increase participation in sport and recreation with an emphasis on physical activity, through rational development of good quality, well-designed and well-utilised facilities.

I can’t wait to see much more evening activation of Forrest Park thanks to this brand new sporting infrastructure.
