Did you know that the City of Joondalup recently released its draft Coastal Hazard Risk Management and Adaption Plan (CHRMAP) for community consultation?

There has been lots of discussion about this document, which recommends up to 17 groynes between Hillarys and Mullaloo as a long-term strategy to combat coastal erosion.

Many members of our community have approached me over the last few weeks to share their concerns over this proposed plan.

Before a decision is made, I, as your local Member of Parliament, want every resident to be informed and have their say on this important community issue.

The City of Joondalup will accept submissions until the 31st of July.

You can find out more information about the CHRMAP, upcoming community information sessions and how to give a submission by going to the link below.
