Eddystone Avenue features a heavily used shared path which connects most of Craigie up with local train stations and bus routes. It’s popular with local pedestrians, scooter riders and cyclists.

Together with the City of Joondalup, we’ve invested to ensure we gave Eddystone shared path a major facelift. These works are now concluding.

The State Government has committed $65,000 towards to works as part of our Western Australian Bicycle Networks (WABN) grants program.

The WABN investment initiative assists local governments with the planning, design and delivery of active transport infrastructure, supporting people of all ages and abilities to walk, wheel and ride as part of their everyday journeys and experiences.

The latest round of WABN grants will support 47 new active transport projects across the State share in $9.6 million. Combined with already committed projects and related initiatives, this brings the total WA Bicycle Network Grant Program commitment to $12.9 million, which includes the delivery of 62km of paths across 63 projects between 2023 and 2025.
