The major new upgrade for Duncraig Senior High School is progressing, with students set to benefit from a new state-of-the-art two-storey science hub (with 12 laboratories!), two-storey English block (with 17 new classrooms!) and refurbished administration building. 

PS Structure Pty Ltd has been contracted to construct new classrooms along with additions and refurbishments which will increase the school's permanent capacity from approximately 1,300 students to 1,850 students. 

It's all part of the Cook Labor Government's $1.5 billion capital works program to deliver the best public schools across Western Australia. 

The school will also benefit from additional funding for a school chaplain, a psychologist, VET careers practitioners and a Year 9 VET taster program. 

Additional parking for staff, visitors and parents will also be included in this major project. The project is expected to be complete within the 2025 school year.
