The State Government of WA is doing everything it can to make the toughest firearms laws in the nation even tougher.

A key part of that historic crackdown has been the Statewide firearms buyback scheme.

The scheme has been highly successful and is a sign many gun owners are getting onboard with the removal of excess firearms.

It’s seen almost 20,000 guns taken off our WA streets and out of our community.

The scheme is about to come to an end, with the buyback closing at midnight on Saturday August 31.
