It is wonderful to announce on Early Childhood Educators Day that the Whitford Family Centre’s state government funding has been extended for another five years.

Part of the Empowering Communities Program, the Whitford Family Centre has been operating since 1988 and provides pre kindy programs, out of school care, a toy library, community garden, play groups, and many more activities.

Thank you to Centre Coordinator Elizabeth Melendez for showing Communities Minister Sabine Winton MLA and myself around and introducing us to the team. I can't wait to see the Centre's programs continue to flourish in the years ahead.
