The WA State Government knows that cost of living is making it tough right now, so we're stepping in to help. That's why we are teaming up with the Albanese Federal Government to deliver a total of $700 in energy bill credits over the next financial year. 

Here's how it will work. 

July 1st - You'll receive your first payment of $75 credits from the federal government. 

Mid-July - You'll receive the first half of the state government credit which is $200 for standard households. If you have a Commonwealth Health Care Card, have Veteran's benefits or are a pensioner this figure will be $367 instead!

October 1st - The second $75 from the federal government will come through. 

Mid-December - The second half of the state government payment will come through - either $200 or 367.

Then you'll receive $75 again on January 1st and April 1st 2025. 

My office has become aware that if you have a split electricity meter in some cases the credits may not roll through automatically. If this happens to you, please contact my office and my team and I will work with RevenueWA and Synergy to ensure you benefit from the cost of living measure.
