More trees for the City of Joondalup!

The city of Joondalup is just 1 out of the 13 Local governments to benefit from the first round of the Urban Greening Grants Program. Funding distributed as part of the program's first round will go towards planting more than 9,000 trees and close to 30,000 understorey species between May and July.

The Cook Labor Government has provided funding to plant thousands of trees and shrubs to develop our urban canopies and help fight climate change. Urban canopies help cool our streets and homes, increase biodiversity and provide natural places that benefit our health and well-being.

These new trees will have a long-lasting benefit for the people of Hillarys electorate!
